Janine’s Garage Sale Generates Wonderful Support for Shelter Pets
On Friday, September 19th, Janine—a dedicated laundry volunteer at Joint Animal Services and a valued member of Friends of JAS—hosted a neighborhood garage sale with a special purpose: helping the pets and people served by JAS.
Janine organized the sale herself, gathered items to resell, and let visitors know that all proceeds would go directly to supporting Friends of JAS. Her enthusiasm and generosity inspired neighbors to stop by, shop, and support the cause. Thanks to her effort and creativity, the sale brought in meaningful funds that will help us continue providing comfort, enrichment, supplies, and support for animals in need.
We are so grateful for Janine and for everyone who pitched in—whether by donating items, shopping at the sale, or simply spreading the word. Acts of kindness like this help strengthen our mission and remind us that every bit of community support truly makes a difference.
Thank you, Janine, for your dedication to the shelter pets and for this thoughtful act of giving!
