Sponsor Vaccinations for a Safer Community
Vaccinations save lives. They also cost money. Dogs and cats are vaccinated while at the animal shelter, but what happens after they leave? Pet families may or may not have the financial means to pay for annual boosters. That’s where we as a community can step in.
Friends of JAS (FoJAS) and Joint Animal Services (JAS) are partnering to sponsor a free vaccination clinic, tentatively scheduled for November 2026. Cats and dogs will receive basic vaccinations, a rabies shot, dewormer, and a flea treatment.
While JAS will handle staffing and logistics, FoJAS is raising money to pay for supplies. If you are able to sponsor vaccinations for a cat ($15) or a dog ($25) please click the link below. Sponsoring just one animal can make a difference for our entire community because healthy animals do not spread disease.

Help a shelter dog find a home
Friends of JAS sponsors adoption fees for select dogs at Joint Animal Services—especially dogs who have been waiting longer for a home. By removing the adoption fee and helping give these dogs additional visibility, we hope to make it easier for the right family to say yes.
The idea began with Harry, a sweet shelter dog our volunteers worried might be overlooked. After working with JAS staff, Friends of JAS sponsored his adoption fee and helped give him some extra attention—and Harry found a home. Since then, we’ve continued sponsoring other dogs as our budget allows.
You can help us sponsor the next dog. A full adoption sponsorship is $110, or you can co-sponsor an adoption for $55. Your gift helps remove a financial barrier for adopters while giving a deserving shelter dog another opportunity to find a loving home.

Vet Clinic & Surgery Suite Upgrades
Help Joint Animal Services care for more animals by supporting upgrades to the shelter’s vet clinic and surgery suite. Your donation will help improve the space and equipment used for exams, treatments, spay/neuter surgeries, and other essential medical care for pets waiting for new homes.
